Your mind needs a different kind of reset
Hi, this is Sonal.
I’m writing this on 11th March, and if you’re working in tech, this part of the year usually feels intense.
Projects are moving fast.
Deadlines are tighter.
And most people are just trying to keep up.
From the outside, everything may look fine. You are attending meetings, delivering work, replying to messages. But somewhere inside, there is a quiet tiredness building up.
Not the kind that sleep fixes.
I remember feeling this very clearly during my IT days.
I would finish work, close my laptop, and tell myself, “Now I should relax.” But even in those moments, my mind kept replaying conversations, solving problems, or worrying about the next day.
Have you ever noticed this?
Even when nothing is happening, the mind continues working.
At that time, I thought the solution was to push harder to relax — watch something, scroll more, distract myself.
But those things didn’t really reset me.
The real shift happened when I slowly returned to something I had loved as a child: painting.
Not for achievement.
Not for learning technique.
Just to sit quietly with colours.
At first, it felt strange. After so many years of structured work, doing something without a goal almost felt uncomfortable.
But as my hands started moving across the canvas, something subtle changed.
My breathing slowed down.
My thoughts became quieter.
And for the first time in a long time, I felt a sense of space inside.
That is when I understood something important.
Our minds don’t always reset through thinking.
Sometimes they reset through creating.
When your hands are involved in something gentle and expressive, the nervous system starts to calm naturally.
This is the idea behind the Creative Reset Master Class.
In this session, I guide professionals like you through a simple painting process that helps release stress and reconnect with a quieter state of mind.
You don’t need any prior art experience.
You don’t need to be “creative.”
You just need a little curiosity to try something different.
If you feel that your mind has been running nonstop lately, you are warmly welcome to join us this Saturday.

And if you want to keep the link for later, I’ll leave it here again so you can return to it when you have a moment:

Tomorrow, I’ll share something interesting about why many logical, analytical minds struggle to truly relax — and how creativity helps balance that.
Until then, take a small pause tonight. Even a few quiet minutes can make a difference.
With warmth,
